Meeting called to order at 710pm by President Keith Gentry
Minutes from the May 1st meeting were read by Buzz. Motion made to accept the minutes as read by Dena , seconded by Karen, all were in favor.
Treasurer’s report was submitted by Dena. Our current balance $371.35. We incurred a water bill of $380 and brought in $720 for hay and $150 from the 4H show. Motion was made to accept the report as read by Karen, seconded by Buzz, all were in favor.
Dena informed us we were paying $5 per month for check returns from the bank. Karen made a motion to discontinue check returns, seconded by Dena, all were in favor.
Open horse show will not be held this month due to conflicting dates with other events. New date TBD.
St. Jude’s Fundraising Committee (Hunting for a Cure) would like to use our facility for cooking only to prepare a dinner for last years volunteers. Discussion was held about what fees should be charged. Motion made by Dena to charge $125 to Hunting For a Cure, seconded by Karen, all were in favor.
Danny Sisk requested to use the facility for cooking only for his company picnic. Danny cut the grass for last year for the Assoc. Buzz made a motion that Danny be allowed to use the cooking pits in return for two free mowings this year, seconded by Karen, All were in favor.
Derrick proposed inviting a Carnival to set up on our
grounds as a fundraiser. Keith will contact Dan Owen and Karen will contact the
Buzz made a motion to offer a contract to Danny Sisk to mow
the grounds for the remainder of the year, seconded by Dena, all were in favor.
